Overview of Drum Lessons:

Drum lessons will give students a chance to learn the fundamentals of rhythm. From there, the student can choose the music of their liking, and be taught in almost any style. MMA drum lessons are designed to maximize a student's ability to play steady rhythm while giving them the chance to express themselves creatively.  We can give lessons in many different areas such as Full Drum Kits (Rock, Jazz, etc…), Orchestral Percussion, African Drums, and playing drums in a band at school.

Age to Begin Lessons:

Any age is a good age to begin the study of drums and percussion. Students seeking to play drum set should be large enough to be able to reach around the set with both their hands and feet

Purchase Requirements:

Purchasing a full drum set can seem daunting, due to all the different pieces needed. A basic drum set has a snare drum, bass drum, mounted tom, floor tom, hi-hat, and ride cymbal. It may be possible to buy these a few pieces at a time, or even find used drums that are in good condition. A qualified drum teacher can offer indispensable advice, and also help you set up your kit.
